- Damage to the controller's internal MOS tube components
Solution:
- Check if the motor wires are damaged or exposed. If damaged, replace the motor.
- Disconnect the controller phase-wire connectors (three thick wires: yellow, green, blue). If the error disappears after reconnecting, replace the motor. If the error persists, replace the controller.
4. E10 Instrument/Controller Communication Fault
E10 means the instrument panel and controller cannot communicate with each other.
Solution:
- Check the communication wires between the instrument and controller for damage, and ensure all connectors are secure.
- Check the rear-wheel motor wires for damage. A damaged motor may cause controller failure—if so, replace both the motor and controller.
5. E11 Throttle Twist-grip Fault
E11 signals a problem with the throttle, which could be due to:
- A loose or disconnected throttle connector
- A damaged throttle or throttle wire
Solution:
- Check that the throttle wire connector is properly connected.
- If the throttle or its wire is damaged, replace the throttle. If the wire is damaged at the instrument end, the instrument may need replacement.
6. Unable to Power On
This may be caused by:
- Battery not installed correctly, battery key not locked, or weak-power switch turned off
- Damaged combination switch or instrument, or loose communication wire connectors
Solution:
- Ensure the battery is properly installed, the key is locked, and the weak-power switch is on.
- Check the combination switch and instrument for damage, and inspect all related wire connectors.
7. The Motor Does Not Rotate When Turning the Throttle
Possible causes include:
- Throttle damage or poor connection
- Incorrect mode setting
- Brake lever damage or misalignment
- Internal motor clutch failure
Solution:
- Check the throttle and its connector.
- Press the power button three times to switch to power-assist + electric mode.
- Check if brake levers are damaged or causing the brake light to stay on.
- If the motor doesn’t rotate, the clutch gears may be damaged—replace the clutch or motor core.
8. Abnormal Motor Noise
This could be due to:
- Brake adjustment issues
- Damaged clutch gears inside the motor
Solution:
- Adjust the brakes if the noise is brake-related.
- If the noise comes from inside the motor, the clutch gears may be damaged—replace the clutch or motor core.
9. The Motor Lacks Power When Riding Under Load
